Yr 11 and 12
Comprehensive and high quality programs in the traditional areas of Biology, Chemistry and Physics taught by experienced and motivated teachers are available for students to study. Historically, these subjects have had wide appeal with many students pursuing a range of careers in engineering, health and scientific disciplines upon completing Yr 12.
Currently in Yr 11 and 12 we offer the QSA authority subject 'Engineering Technology' designed for students wanting to pursue Engineering or trades at the end of Yr 11 and 12. In 2010, the intention is to offer the Science SAS subject as an alternative to Engineering Technology. The Science SAS will have a heavy emphasis on science theory and practice that applies to Engineering and Trades as currently in Engineering Technology without the heavy emphasis on assessment.
